Hardware Hacking

  • Skills: C, C++, Electronics, Design, Teamwork

In my security engineering internship with the RCMP, I delved into the intricate world of hardware hacking, focusing on uncovering hidden vulnerabilities in wifi routers. Using sophisticated tools, including a PuTTY emulator, logic analyzer, and a soldering station, I meticulously dissected the hardware to expose its core. My expertise in embedded firmware allowed me to navigate through complex systems, revealing potential security flaws. This deep-dive approach not only sharpened my technical skills but also contributed to enhancing the overall cybersecurity landscape.
